Sweet Education

Branding & Visual Identity, Editorial Design, Illustration

Sweet Education designs engaging resources for secondary school students, with a focus on qualifications that support personal development and employability.

As the in-house designer, I led the visual identity for the launch of the BTEC WorkSkills qualification and supported the evolution of the existing PGW (Personal Growth and Wellbeing) resource. Across both projects, I designed over 40 books—developing illustration systems, colour palettes, and print-ready layouts.

I also created a suite of marketing materials for both print and digital platforms, helping to present Sweet’s educational offer in a way that feels accessible, learner-focused, and full of personality.

BTEC WorkSkills

For Sweet’s newest qualification, I created a more mature illustration style that still felt friendly and on-brand. I designed a full set of learner resources—developing character designs, layouts, and visuals that made the content feel clear and engaging.

BTEC PGW

I led the visual refresh of Sweet’s PGW resources—developing an expanded illustration system, refining layouts, and applying a cohesive colour palette.
